It’s abnormal, you know? Anything that you do as a child that is special — whether it’s ice skating, playing tennis, playing the violin, playing the cello, playing the piano — which requires practicing, what’s natural about that? That you have to spend — when I was growing up, I spent three hours a day practicing. Three hours a day is not even a lot. Some kids, I will say to them, “Don’t practice… you know, five hours is it.” But can you imagine that you have to go to school and practice and do your homework? It’s very serious, and so sometimes, you have to have a real something inside of you that really wants to do it.
