Tara VanDerveer: I was never the best player on any team I’ve ever played on. But I think—I think I just… I’m crazy about the game, and so it’s never been work for me. So, I watch a lot of videotape. I study the game, I watch it and watch it and watch it, and I think about it. And I, you know, ask questions. I’m curious about how other people do things. So, maybe the amount of time I’ll spend. I will—it doesn’t… again, it’s fun. You know, I enjoy it so much. Just maybe being competitive. I don’t know, maybe just wanting to—wanting players to be successful. So, helping—trying to always think outside the box of how, or new ways we can do things. You know, this might be a little thing, but just even like our team at Stanford, I’m like, “How can we win a national championship at Stanford?” And it just was—the timing was right. They put in the three-point line. So, some coaches said don’t shoot threes. I’m like, shoot threes. You know, like, we’re out there shooting threes before other teams did it, in the same way that maybe that Steph Curry does it now. We were always shooting threes. But, you know, being open to new ideas. I don’t know—you know, working with great assistant coaches, recruiting great players, having fun, turning on the music at practice.
